The Ground Floor
Below is the ground floor plan - the yellow bit is the existing house and the blue
bit is the extension. The main bit we are having added is the big room across the back
of the house to the left - however we have taken the opportunity to make some use of
the garage which to be honest has just been used as a bit of a dump!!!! We are going
to have a room there and at the back of it a shower room and toilet. This is the room
marked on the plan as "Study". The room across the back is marked as kitchen and "dinning room"
- it will infact be both of those and the lounge as well - the lounge being at the bottom of
the room.
The old kitchen is shown on the plan as "Utility" and will, infact, be split into two
rooms - the "Laundry" which is at the top end with the two windows and the other room,
which will not have any windows, we plan to use as a "Pantry". I should be able to get
a good stock of supplies in there in preparation for the next Millenium Bug!!!
